Conceived in 1890-91; this reduction conceived in 1893; this example cast by Georges Rudier, Paris in July 1972. This work is from an edition of 9 unnumbered examples cast between 1967 and 1978.
This work will be included in the forthcoming Catalogue Critique de l'oeuvre sculpté d'Auguste Rodin being currently prepared by Galerie Brame & Lorenceau under the direction of Jérôme Le Blay under the archive number 2009-2816B.
