Launched in 1993 at the Basel Fair and discontinued in 2002, the reference 5050 features a retrograde date and perpetual calendar mechanism. This reference has a very distinctive look and shares the retrograde layout with the now mythical reference 5016, also launched in 1993. However, its minimal and far slimmer case design allows it to wear extremely well on the wrist, and allows collectors the chance to own a design akin to a legendary reference at a fraction of the cost.
