Founded in 2005, Maximilian Büsser & Friends MB&F is a brand known for their outlandish designs. Its core philosophy revolves around two central model lines: Legacy Machine and Horological Machine. While both seek to expand and explore the realm of unorthodox watchmaking, the Legacy Machine series still keeps one foot planted in traditional watchmaking, while Horological Machines abandon tradition entirely, as can be seen with the present HM10.

Built to resemble the shape of a Bulldog, complete with 4 leg-shaped articulating lugs and even a set of teeth visible through the exhibition case back, the impressive movement construction elevates the flying balance wheel above and outside of the movement main plate, mounting a double domed rotating time display underneath. Made in a very limited series of just 8 pieces, the spirit of the watch adorns the case back: “forget the dog, beware the owner”.
