Sultan Qaboos bin Said al Said of Oman was a famous lover of wristwatches. He made a habit of gifting watches from prestigious brands to friends and subjects, elevating most pieces with the Omani Khanjar crest of his family. Due to the rarity and historic value, Khanjar stamped pieces have become immensely popular in recent times. Authentic Khanjar Rolexes must have the logo itself replace lines of text, as this is almost impossible to replicate perfectly on the sly. Collectors also like to see either a corresponding Asprey or Khanjar stamp on the case back. Both of these features are present and correct on the present Datejust.
