Bulgari's acquisition of Daniel Roth in 2000 has led to a design integration of the two brands. While the present wristwatch is officially a Bulgari timepiece, the case design is undeniably "Daniel Roth", with the iconic "Ellipsocurvex" shape and short, straight lugs. The semi-skeletonised dial beautifully showcases the substantially sized apertures, featuring the tourbillon at 6 and the carillon chiming mechanism at 11. Rather than a standard two gong repeater, the carillon chiming system consist of an extra gong, resulting in a distinctive three-note melody for the quarter hour chime. Discerning collectors are sure to appreciate the combination of timeless and iconic design with mechanical complication.
