The 1815 is one of the most popular lines in the A. Lange & Söhne collection, with its signature inky arabic numerals. The present watch combines this DNA with an intricate tourbillon, visible through the dial cut-out at 6 o’clock, which is more complex than one might expect.

Tourbillon wristwatches are already complex, but to build in not only a hacking function but also a zero-reset which snaps the second hand back to 12 when the crown is pulled out is no small feat. Indeed, only a small handful of brands offer this ability. Thus, the present tourbillon wristwatch is not only elegant but also thoughtfully designed and built for wear.
