The present skeleton tourbillon is much more than meets the eye. Hailing from the end of Jean Claude Biver’s Golden Era, a time where the brand placed huge emphasis on haute horlogerie, this early No. 2 watch houses the highly important Calibre 23. At the time of its creation in 1989, it was indeed the first ever flying tourbillon wristwatch calibre, a feat made even more impressive by it also being the thinnest tourbillon wristwatch calibre when it was launched. Collectors with an affinity for neo-vintage innovation and technological milestones in horology, this watch is a must-have.
