Audemars Piguet has long been celebrated for its mastery of chiming complications, particularly minute repeaters, while also playing a pioneering role in the development of the jumping hour wristwatch. In 1921, the manufacture introduced its first jumping hour model, a highly distinctive creation that was traditionally presented in an elegant rectangular case.

The watch embodies the sophistication of the Art Deco era through its harmonious and carefully considered design. The dial is beautifully balanced, featuring an hour aperture positioned at 12 o'clock and a subsidiary seconds display at 6 o'clock, while the angular faceted case further enhances its geometric appeal.
