Case: 14k gold lyre-form case composed of pink gold body, curved yellow gold case sides, yellow gold chamfered bezel, applied yellow gold band set with diamonds, surmounted by a curving band of calibré-cut channel-set rubies, clip to back with safety catch, notched rear-winder, case back secured by two screws, back of mount signed Cartier, inside case back with Swiss squirrel assay mark, [LC] punch mark with a fir tree for LeCoultre, poinçon de maître key mark 3

This elegant clip watch featuring a stylised lyre-form two-colour gold case with gem-set highlights was designed to be clipped onto a bag, purse, or directly onto clothing as a brooch, making it a versatile accessory. The movement and its immediate casing were supplied by LeCoultre, while the outer casing of the clip was almost certainly produced locally for Cartier New York in the United States.
