The present reference is the Patek Philippe 5089 Mandalas is an exceptionally rare creation from the brand’s off-catalogue Rare Handcrafts collection. Produced in a highly exclusive run of just ten pieces, this remarkable timepiece celebrates the intricate artistry of the mandala, the sacred circular symbol found in Hindu and Buddhist traditions that represents spiritual balance and cosmic unity. Its dial is adorned with lotus blossoms, an iconic motif deeply revered in both faiths.

Each dial is a miniature masterpiece, meticulously crafted using Grand Feu cloisonné and paillonné enamel techniques. Combining six shades of translucent and opaque enamel with approximately 12 cm of hand-shaped gold wire, the design vividly expresses the mandala’s harmonious symmetry and contemplative beauty.

Framing the dial is a bezel set with 72 triangular-cut blue topaz weighing a total of 1.59 carats. The luxurious alligator leather strap is complemented by a buckle embellished with an additional eight blue topaz totaling 0.21 carats, lending a refined brilliance to this extraordinary artistic creation.
