Maximilian Büsser is the ultimate rebel of the watch world, a title which is evident in his experimental Horological Machine series. Said to be inspired by a jellyfish, the MB&F Horological Machine No. 7 Aquapod embodies the brand’s radical design philosophy.
Like much of MB&F’s offering, the HM7 does not use hands to tell the time. Instead, a spherical time display utilising two rotating rings is used, with the central part of the sphere openworked to show off the flying tourbillon. To further complete the spherical design motifs, both the top and bottom sapphire crystals are domed, and the watch further features a rotating one-way timing bezel at the periphery. All of these elements combine to make for a truly radical design.
