Displayed proudly at the centre of this skeletonised case, this present Grand Reverso 101 epitomises Jaeger-LeCoultre’s prowess of engineering and technical mastery. Initially unveiled in 1929, the calibre 101 was and still is the smallest mechanical movement in the world, weighing barely one gram. Due to the intricacy that is required, every 101 is finished by hand by a master watchmaker, and only an estimated 50 of these movements are created per year. The Reverso case allows the wearer to examine the 101 from every angle and makes the present watch the perfect showcase for this historic calibre.
