Inspired by a medieval sword given to the founder Carlos Dias, the present Roger Dubuis Excalibur epitomizes the brand’s fearless pursuit in the world of high horology. Unveiled in 2005, it served as a cornerstone for the brand which singlehandedly put the brand on the map. The present reference DBEX0674 derives itself from the Excalibur Spider collection, and was conceived as a bold demonstration of the brand’s technical mastery, evident by the two tourbillons that is proudly displayed on the dial.

Being numbered 3 out of the 28 ever produced, this example perfectly illustrates the famous audacious design of Roger Dubuis. Coming in at a case size of 48 mm, it certainly does demand attention when worn. The subtle texture that comes with the forged carbon case alongside the more vivid rose gold, this present example has a distinct aesthetic that is innately native to the design philosophy of Roger Dubuis.
