Introduced in 1968, the Golden Ellipse is one of Patek Philippe's most enduring creations and remains the second oldest model in the manufacture's current collection after the Calatrava. Conceived around the principles of the golden ratio, its distinctive elliptical case was designed with proportions derived from this celebrated mathematical formula, resulting in a harmonious and timeless aesthetic that has become a hallmark of the collection.
