Case: 18k white gold curved rectangular case, chamfered bezel, hooded lugs, the lower lugs integrating the deployant clasp’s closure, curved satin-finished case back, flat notched winder to case back, case back secured by four screws to case sides, case back exterior signed Cartier, Paris, 1899-1999, 13 Rue de la Paix, No. 4/13, Mecanique, Made in France, reference number 2453B and Swiss assay marks for 18k gold, interior with Swiss dog’s head assay mark

Created in an edition of just 13 pieces, this model commemorates the centenary of Cartier’s historic move to 13 Rue de la Paix in Paris. The dial is specially finished in salmon pink, and the 12 o’clock numeral is replaced with a ‘13’ in tribute to the Rue de la Paix address. In 1899, Cartier made a pivotal move to 13 Rue de la Paix, a prestigious location in the heart of Paris’s luxury district, near the Place Vendôme. This relocation marked a turning point in the company’s history, positioning the Maison at the centre of Parisian high society and fashion.
