The present Omega DeVille Jeux d’Argent cuff watch in silver represents one of the most creative periods in the brand's history. During the 60s and 70s, Omega embraced a bold spirit of experimentation, collaborating with visionary designers and exploring unconventional forms that challenged traditional watch design. It was an era that produced some of the manufacturer's most artistic creations, alongside celebrated works by designers such as Gilbert Albert and Andrew Grima.

The present example embodies this avant-garde approach through its strikingly sculptural silver cuff construction. Its design closely echoes a concept watch illustrated by Irene Spielmann for Montres et Bijoux in 1974, featuring a similarly fluid and organic form. While Spielmann's original sketch envisioned a crystal extending seamlessly to the very edge of the case, the overall silhouette remains remarkably comparable, highlighting the era's fascination with futuristic shapes and the seamless integration of watchmaking and wearable art.
