The foliate border a composite of a converted pair of hairpins, centring an associated openwork panel of basketweave design, millegrain-set throughout with old-European and single-cut diamonds, border inscribed Cartier Paris, Londres, New York, French assay mark for platinum; circa 1910 and later.
