Van Cleef & Arpels

Designed as a line of cushion and oval-shaped sapphires, spaced and bordered by baguette and tapered baguette diamonds, the clasp completed with square and brilliant-cut diamonds, mounted in platinum, length approximately 185mm, signed Van Cleef & Arpels, numbered, with French assay mark and maker's mark for Jacques Timey; circa 1938.

Accompanied by a copy of a Van Cleef & Arpels Certificate of Authenticity dating the piece to 1938.

Accompanied by a copy of AGL report no. 1116855, dated 8 October 8 2021, stating that sapphires 1, 2, 3, 11, 14 and 15 from the clasp are of Kashmir origin, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 10, 12 and 13 of Burmese origin and 8 of Ceylon origin, all with no indications of heating.
