Since the introduction of David Webb’s first animal bracelets in 1957, creatures from the designer’s celebrated “kingdom” have remained among the house’s most longstanding and recognizable motifs. From zebras and frogs to leopards and cougars, Webb transformed the natural world into jewels of remarkable wit, glamour, and sculptural presence. Often distinguished by their exuberant use of color and texture, these creations incorporates carved coral, enamel, rock crystal, and vivid hardstone.

The present double leopard bracelet represents a particularly opulent interpretation of Webb’s celebrated menagerie. Entirely pavé-set with diamonds and accented by yellow and orange diamond spots, the bracelet balances ferocity with sophistication, its opposing felines rendered with the bold dimensionality and unmistakable glamour that characterize Webb’s work. Both playful and commanding, the design reflects the enduring appeal of the House’s animal jewels, which continue to captivate collectors nearly seven decades after their debut.
