Description

10½-inch dished enamel dial with centre seconds, the weight-driven movement with pin wheel escapement and unusual form of maintaining power on the third wheel, the case with shaped hood, bombé trunk with glazed lenticle, flared plinth and shaped apron, the whole veneered with panels of kingwood within mahogany borders and applied with foliate mounts; (regilt, restoration to the veneer)
