Description

painted in Schwarzlot with Kauffahrtei scenes of figures in estuary or harbour landscapes, within elaborate gilt-scroll cartouches filled with Böttger-lustre embellished further with dark puce scrolls and diaper panels, the covers and sugar box with a continuous scene, the coffee pot and teapot with purpurmalerei sprays of indianische Blumen, comprising:

a coffee pot and cover;

a teapot and cover;

an oval sugar box and cover;

a waste bowl;

and four tea bowls and saucers,

crossed swords marks in underglaze-blue, gilt numeral 96.
