Description

spirally moulded in the Neubrandentstein pattern with gilt-edged rims, alternating with trellis and floral panels, painted with large vignettes of birds perched in branches and scattered insects and butterflies, comprising:

twenty-nine plates, 9 ⅝ in; 24,3 cm diam.;

ten soup plates, 9 ¼ in; 23,2 cm diam.;

two circular dishes, 12 ¼ in; 30,8 cm diam.;

one circular dish, 13 ¾ in; 34,6 cm diam;

together with a 19th century circular dish and a slightly larger dinner plate, similarly moulded and decorated,

crossed swords marks, some with dot or star, in underglaze-blue, impressed numerals
