Description

4¼-inch twelve-piece cartouche enamel dial, signed on an enamel plaque below Gosselin A Paris, the movement with four vase-shaped pillars, later conversion to steel suspension, pull quarter repeating on two top-mounted bells with three hammers, the case with eagle cresting and foliate scroll feet, the whole re-decorated in gilt with chinoiseries on a red ground
