Koller Zürich, 26 March 2015, lot 1129.

As with many ébénistes of his day, Adrien Delorme's showpieces tend to be larger commodes, of which an example in lacquer is in the Rijksmuseum (BK-16652) and a particularly rich example sold for 110,000 CHF at Koller Zürich, 19 September 2013, lot 1105. However, he is also known for the neat, smaller tables that became increasingly popular around the middle of the century, including one that is now in the Louvre (OA 6541) and another in the Metropolitan Museum (1983.353). He was received as a master craftsman (maître ) in 1748.
