Pauillac, 2ème Cru Classé

Cabernet Sauvignon 76%, Merlot 24%. In 2024, scented cassis on the nose, followed on the palate by layers of velvety fruit that almost stick to the teeth.  Beautiful balance and volume, with a terrific finish - I even wrote 'eternal', although I shall not be there to witness that aspect!  Serena Sutcliffe, MW
