Pomerol 

Merlot 51%, 49% Cabernet Franc. The Merlots were as successful this year at Lafleur as Cabernet Franc and had smaller berries than usual.  A wonderful, ample nose.  In the mouth, plums, spices and multi-layering, with great freshness and terrific red fruit.  Those wine gums again, plus coffee and cloves.  Gummy and rich, but dances on the palate with elegance - how could it be otherwise at Lafleur. Serena Sutcliffe, MW
