Merlot 52%, Cabernet Sauvignon 42%, Petit Verdot 6%. In 2016, a true black fruit compote nose.  Lovely coffee and tobacco notes on the palate, with so much vitality and brightness to add to the ripe tannins and chocolate finish.  This could be their best ever Alter Ego. Serena Sutcliffe, MW
