A real Barton bouquet of fruit and sensuality. Silky, with lots of finesse. Gives enormous pleasure. Some favour this over the 1989 but for me, the latter is totally dominant in terms of depth and complexity. At 20 years old, a beautiful bouquet of heather. Wonderful, silky, seductive fruit on the palate, with mature plums and black tea. The tannins melt in the mouth. You can see why it wins friends everywhere. Serena Sutcliffe, MW
