A dry year in Bordeaux and immensely impressive right from the start. In 2014, marvellous, inky violets on the nose. And real 'inkiness' on the palate. Like Fortuny silk on the texture, a signature Haut Brion characteristic. Great vivacity on the finish, a part of the fresh acidity of the year. Will go the distance. Serena Sutcliffe, MW

The wines in this collection were acquired almost entirely through direct allocations from leading producers’ agents in the UK and Hong Kong, selected with uncompromising attention to authenticity and traceability. Strengthened by the collector’s longstanding relationships and his regular visits to Burgundy and Bordeaux, the cellar reflects two decades of careful sourcing and consistently impeccable provenance.
