Description
Vosne Romanée, Cuvée Duvault-Blochet 1999
Domaine de la Romanée-Conti
Côte de Nuits, 1er Cru
Signs of seepage
Made from young vines, but with all the skill and care of the DRC crew, this is a marvellous, pleasure-giving wine. In 2014, just so crunchy, bouncy and complex. Spicy and classy, this really has a title to its name and is of Grand Cru quality. Pure silk and with a cassis berries finish. There is a touch of La Tâche to this. Serena Sutcliffe, MW
