Description

Krug 2003

Levels above foil packed in coffret within oc

When I first saw this in 2011, it was all toast and oranges. In 2012 in Reims, it went into orbit. Noble and expressive from the outset, it is a huge wine and yet balanced, with fabulous projection. So rich, luscious and opulent, both the bouquet and the taste become even more complex, even 'smoky' as you leave it in the glass - a challenge in itself. I fell for this in a big way. In 2015, I detected a lovely, spicy, ginger finish. Serena Sutcliffe, MW
