100% Syrah. Aged in small new oak casks for 42 months. A multi-dimensional black fruit nose of impact - just what one would expect from 100% Syrah on clay and calcareous soil. Massive cassis taste, with liquorice and sandalwood on the palate too. Coats the mouth. All the new oak has already gone after 6 years. Serena Sutcliffe, MW
