In 2025, a deeply scented, classically cedary Pauillac nose, with a touch of red cherries in liqueur. This continues to the palate which is so succulent - the Merlot shows through in 1995, a year that favoured this grape variety. The sheer cassis on the finish also declares the presence of the Cabernet Sauvignon! Increasingly sumptuous in the glass - if you like rich texture, sink into this. Serena Sutcliffe, MW
