Imported and bottled especially for the Hotel Sevilla-Biltmore in Havana, 'Sloppy Joe's Bar' sticker adhered to rear of bottle, Cuban tax strip slightly nicked on the right side, branded neck label stained, worn metal capsule has a small tear on the right side, top of front label stained & nicked, top left hand corner of rear sticker scuffed and slightly frayed

Hotel Sevilla opened in Havana in 1908 before it was renamed Sevilla-Biltmore in 1919 following a change in ownership. This American Rye whiskey was imported to Cuba and bottled especially for the hotel. The sticker on the rear features the name 'Sloppy Joe's Bar', a famous Havana bar in the 1930s-1950s, often frequented by celebrities of the time.
