The Pasha de Cartier collection, unveiled in 1985, was Cartier's take on an elevated sports watch. The line, named after the Pasha of Marrakesh, a longtime client of Louis Cartier, evokes a bold sophistication. Designed by none other than Gérald Genta, the legendary designer behind the Patek Philippe Nautilus and the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak, the Pasha was introduced during the emergence of luxury sports watches.
The present example encapsulates the innate elegance of the Maison's creations. At 38 mm, the case has a wonderful presence on the wrist while not being too oversized. It's beautiful diamond-set bezel and matching diamond-set crown is complimented by a silvered dial highlighted by gold accents.
