Daniel Roth’s design language remains among the most recognisable in independent watchmaking, defined by the double-ellipse case, engine-turned dials and restrained mechanical display layouts established during the 1990s. Following Bulgari’s acquisition of the marque, a limited number of watches continued to preserve these codes while incorporating more contemporary execution and finishing.
The present reference BRR.P.44.G.PS retains the distinctive double-ellipse case in pink gold, paired with a sharply divided silvered and dark grey dial. Elongated Roman numerals, slender indexes and the recessed running seconds display preserve the architectural discipline associated with Daniel Roth’s earlier work.
The manually wound calibre 206 is visible through the sapphire crystal display back, displaying broad bridges and restrained traditional finishing beneath engravings signed Daniel Roth. Combining the historical design vocabulary of one of modern independent watchmaking’s formative figures with Bulgari-era execution, the present watch represents an increasingly appreciated chapter in Daniel Roth production.
