The Crazy Hours is one of Franck Muller’s most recognisable creations, using a jumping-hour mechanism to turn a deliberately disordered dial into a functioning time display.
On the present example, the hour numerals are arranged out of sequence and rendered in the vivid colours of the Color Dreams series. At each hour, the hand jumps to the correct numeral, giving the watch its characteristic visual and mechanical play.
The pink gold Cintrée Curvex case reinforces the theatrical nature of the model, while the silvered dial ground and blued hands provide structure against the otherwise exuberant display.
