Description

Jadeite saddle rings are of intense green colour and very good translucency, celadon tone to the shank.

  • Jadeite saddle rings approximately 22.22 x 16.38 x 21.15 x 7.32 and 22.01 x 16.45 x 20.60 x 7.36mm
  • Both ring size 5½
  • Accompanied by Hong Kong Jade & Stone Laboratory certificates no. SJ 258806 and SJ 258807, both dated 11 August 2026, each stating that the jadeite tested is natural, known in the trade as "A Jade"

The present rings were presented by Wang Kemin (王克敏) to Michio Yuzawa, a bureaucrat and cabinet minister during the early Shōwa period, during Yuzawa’s 1938 visit to China in connection with the establishment of the Provisional Government of the Republic of China. Yuzawa subsequently gifted the rings to his descendants as souvenirs of the visit, where they have remained in the family’s collection since.
