rectangular with cut corners, the lid painted en plein with an oval vignette with washerwomen and a fisherman in an idyllic lakescape, against an opalescent pink sky over sun-ray engine-turning, on a polished gold ground with an unusual decoration of enamel triangles in white, pale blue and dark blue, the right rim numbered 5047, in a red leather case by Harvey & Gore, London,
