Description
rectangular with cut corners, the lid centred with an almond-shaped dark-blue enamel plaque with two putti sacrificing at the altar of love, within applied laurel wreaths and scrolls within taille d'épargne anthemion borders, the ground chased in high relief with laurel wreaths and classical foliage, the sides and base decorated en suite, apparently unmarked
