“During my trip to Rome last year, I saw these two gentlemen sitting at a café, deep in intense conversation. I sat there, wondering what they could have been talking about. One man's imploring hand gestures paired with the other's thousand-yard stare made it seem like this was a difficult conversation for both involved.
I felt compelled to paint this moment; an interaction that could have felt as much at home today as it could've been in the 50's, or thousands of years ago between two ancient Romans.” – Diego Glazer
