Album of designs for "distinguished" carriages


Oblong folio (277 x 381 mm), containing 72 drawings of carriages, mostly double-page, some folding, each executed in pencil and ink and finely hand-coloured, some heightened with gold, most numbered in ink, a few captioned in Dutch, on laid paper, with J. Honig & Zoonen watermarks, nineteenth-century quarter calf over marbled boards, occasional creasing or spotting, traces of removed bookplate to front free endpaper, extremities slightly rubbed
