8vo, FIRST EDITION, FIRST IMPRESSION, SECOND STATE, INSCRIBED AND SIGNED BY KENNETH LEWIS: inscribed ("To. James Pickard a memorable day! Kenneth Lewis") on the front free endpaper and signed on the front flap, original black cloth (binding A), lettered in silver, original dust-jacket by Kenneth Lewis, housed in bespoke black cloth clamshell case with embossed dust-jacket design orange sides, inside of dust-jacket browned, lower cover of dust-jacket very slightly soiled
Gilbert notes this as a second state (with "shoo" corrected to "shoot" on page 10).
