Description

the first, a Seto chawan [tea bowl], the high sided bowl on ring foot, decorated with a crackled yellowish and green glaze, incisded with a single blossom and foliage, 19th century; the second, a tall metal mizusashi [water jar] and cover, fitted wood storage box; the third an Oribe style chawan [tea bowl] with irregular rim, decorated overall in a whitish glaze, 19th century; the fourth, a Haji ware jar, the unglazed reddish-brown earthenware vessel with flared mouth, tapering towards the foot, 5th century (7)
