Description

A gilt-copper mounted blue-glazed ewer

藍釉鎏金銅鑲口軍持


well potted with a flattened pear-shaped body on a circular splayed foot, sweeping up to a slender neck and set with a long curved spout with hexagonal tip, applied overall with a rich dark blue glaze save for the recessed base left in the biscuit revealing a smooth white ware, the neck fitted with reticulated Ottoman gilt-copper mount
