Kentucky Tavern 5 Year Old 100 Proof 1941


Distilled in Spring 1941, bottled in Fall 1946, distilled and bottled by Glenmore Distilleries Co, foil capsule worn and tarnished, front and back label worn and soiled, state of California tax stamp adhered to the front of the bottle


Kentucky Tavern bourbon originated in the late 19th century at the Monarch Distillery in Owensboro, Kentucky. Not only did it survive the distillery’s purchase by James Thompson in 1901, but it became a flagship brand of his new operation, renamed the Glenmore Distillery.
