This watch is a legend in the world of scuba diving; COMEX (the Compagnie Maritime d’Expertise) sported the Ploprof in the 1970s. The Calypso team also used the watch on numerous dives, including on the wrist of Jacques Cousteau.
Truly designed for professionals, its unique case makes it a truly special timepiece, a reliable tool for extreme depths. The model shown here is the perfect successor to the original. The gradient blue of its dial is reminiscent of the ocean’s depths.
Its strength stems from its mono-bloc case and its helium escape valve. The safety pusher releases the bidirectional bezel, allowing for easy calculation of dive time and decompression stops.
Equipped with the Omega 8912, this one offers a 60-hours power reserve and high precision, as proven by the Master Chronometer and COSC certification.
A real dive watch with exceptional precision, and a unique design. It's a watch that breaks the mold and deserves a place in any collection.
