These sneakers were worn by Shaquille O’Neal on June 7, 2000 during Game 1 of the NBA Finals when the Los Angeles Lakers played the Indiana Pacers. 

O’Neal recorded a double-double, finishing with 43 points, 19 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3 blocks. The Lakers went on to win the 2000 NBA Finals, 4-2, and Shaq would be named NBA Finals MVP.

Shaq's 1999-2000 is considered one of the most dominant seasons ever by a player, ending with not only a Finals MVP trophy and his first championship, he was also the regular season MVP, NBA Scoring Champion, while being named to the All-NBA First Team and All-Defensive Second Team.
