Set of Three | Kendrick Lamar x Nike Cortez Samples | Size 10 -10.5

In 2018, Nike partnered with Kendrick Lamar to create a limited run of Nike Cortez sneakers. Having worn the silhouette throughout his 2017 DAMN. tour, the collaboration stood as a natural extension of Lamar’s personal style and cultural impact.

Offered in this lot are three distinct sample iterations of the Kendrick Lamar x Nike Cortez.

The red nylon Kung Fu Kenny sample paid homage to Lamar’s alter ego and featured “DAMN” rendered in Chinese characters along with “DON’T TRIP” embroidered across the laces. The black nylon sample similarly incorporated Chinese characters on the lateral side and was finished with “BET IT BACK” embroidered across the laces.

The white leather DAMN sample replaced the traditional Nike Swoosh with the album title prominently displayed on the lateral side, while additional details included a custom “NIKE DAMN” tongue label.

The sockliners carried the playful inscription: “NIKE CORTEZ, preferably wear with shorts and long socks.” Exceptionally rare, all three are accompanied by sample hangtags.
