Jeroboam #000056, soiled label, slightly soiled and wrinkled vintage slip, slightly soiled Leroy slip, wax capsule slightly scuffed, soiled and stained, damaged on top revealing top of slightly rasied cork

Last tasted from Jeroboam in 2010. Wet vegetation and wild strawberries on the nose. Lingeringly rich too. Date jam and so much deep fruit and leaf intensity on the palate. Almost meaty on contact with the air. La Tâche tells a tale. Heavy roast coffee beans at the end, with all the woodland fruits and autumnal notes one looks for in mature DRC. Serena Sutcliffe, MW
